Question- While you read, question what's happening. Searching for reasons behind events and characters' actions can help you get more involved in what you read.
Connect- Connect personally with what you're reading. Think of similarities between the descriptions in the selection and what you have personally experienced, heard, or read.
Predict- Try to figure out what will happen next and how the selection might end. Then read on to see if you made good guesses.
Clarify- Stop occasionally to review what you understand so far, and expect to have your understanding change and develop as you read on.
Evaluate- Form opinions about what you read, both while you're reading and after you've finished. Make judgments about the characters and develop your own ideas about events.

The main characters are Flavia, Nubia, Jonathan, Lupus. A bunch of animals are let loose around Rome they include a loin, man eating bird, and a camelopard.
I think that she will find those animals and bring them back to the owner.

The twelve tasks are sort of the same as Hercules' tasks. She thought that Cartilia Poplicoa was evil because her father was acting strange, she also thought that she bewhitched him. After completing the twelve tasks she found out that Cartilia's sister Diana was trying to bewhitch their teacher with love potion. When a wide spread fever brakes out Cartilia which is her fathers betroth dies he looks on the bright side and says at least I still have you.

His friend Togan at his new place dies when a samurai kills him. The master moves him up to stable boy and he is very popular there because he beat up another mean kid. He has done alot of errands for his master and he is digging deep into his heart.
I think that he will become a samurai in the next chapter.

Taro is now working in his masters castle as a messenger. Another boy and him were sent to Give a letter to another general. On the way back they meet a couple of monks.
I think that he will a strong boy.

Those monks are not actuly monks they are robbers. They try to rob them but they get away. That night the boys need a place to stay so they see a small hut and the owner invites them in. He wakes them up at sunrise and they go off. On the way back the hut is a small peice of rubble. when they ask the neighbors they say he died long ago.
I predict that they will meet the robbers again on their way back.
